We believe that quality comes from our kind, caring and supportive staff team, who are on hand twenty-four hours every day.

Our experienced staff team are fully trained to meet your needs and pride themselves on spending time getting to know our residents.

Our recruitment process is robust and following all safety checks including full training, DBS, and references, we support new staff members during their three-month induction to settle into their new home.

All our homes have an on-site Registered Manager who has received their high accreditation from the Care Quality Commission (our regulators). The CQC monitor, inspect and evaluate our homes ensuring we are safe, effective, compassionate and provide high quality care for our residents.

      What you can expect from us

      FYLDE CARE GROUP

      During your first visit an experienced member of staff will be on hand to show you around and answer any questions you may have regarding your stay with us. This is a lovely time to meet our team, meet our residents and see first hand how our home supports our residents, in a dignified and caring way.

      Following your initial visit, we like to arrange a visit to meet you in your own home. We use this valuable time, to find out all the important information about you, to help ensure your stay is comfortable and happy.

      Before you arrive, our Registered Manager will put together a care plan, so our staff have everything they need to support prior to your arrival. If you have brought belongings in advance, we will help to unpack and even hang pictures, so you can feel at home from the moment you arrive.

      On your first day, a senior staff member will show you around and help you to settle into your new room; introducing you to staff and residents. We recognise that it is often the small things that make all the difference.

      Within the first two weeks, we will work with you to choose a key worker. Your key worker is on hand to coordinate your personal care and make sure that you have everything you need. Your key worker is also your main point of contact for family, providing a coordinated approach to care.

      During your stay we regularly update your care plan. We do this with you, your family, key worker, and outside professionals. This ensures we work towards a coordinated care plan that reflects your wishes and needs. We can also help with coordinating additional professional support at the times you need it most.

      Care Quality Commission

      Being in control of your care

      The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator for Health and Social Care.

      We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and through their fundamental standards you can feel confident that our care service meets the important areas of Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led. Our home manager can provide further information regarding these fundamental standards, or our internal policies and procedures, to help answer any questions you may have during your stay.

      The CQC continuously monitor feedback from the people that use our service including professionals, families, and the public. From this feedback the CQC decides when and what to inspect. These regular inspections focus on key area and provides an important quality assurance process. We have a CQC inspector that we keep in regular contact with, who provides further guidance and information, to support our service.

      It is important that you are involved and in control of the service we provide to you and feedback is very important to us. We carry out regular surveys for staff, families, and professionals. Any feedback is considered as part of our ongoing quality improvement plan. We also provide this information to the CQC as part of their monitoring service.
