We aim to support our residents to continue with the same routine, activities, hobbies and interests they would have enjoyed at home. It is our job to try and make daily living a little bit easier. This maybe by supporting with washing, dressing, laundry, toileting or at mealtimes.
By spending time with our residents, person centred care helps provide ongoing support with daily healthcare needs. We like to provide plenty of time so our residents can get to know our staff teams well and feel supported to remain as independent as possible.
Information we may need to support our residents is available through handheld devices for all our carers. We use the same device to share information to others and is logged by the carer at the point of care.
Daily activities are an important part of our day, and we encourage all our care team to participate in daily activities that they feel comfortable with. We enjoy playing games, listening to music and art and craft and daily exercise but we are always looking for new ideas.
No two days are ever the same and working in a care home is a stimulating job that gives every carer the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people. All our residents will have different reasons why they have joined our home from support with personal care, enjoying company to more complex medical conditions. Online Rota System
We use an online rota system called Rota Cloud and publish our rotas four weeks in advance. We share any open shifts to the staff team first which enables shifts to be picked up if you want to work extra (and reduces agency cover).

To request a holiday, you can put in an online request, allowing you to manage your holidays in advance, ensuring that holidays are approved quickly and fairly for the whole team.
